Supporting Student Success Since 1979
The Glen Oaks Community College Foundation was incorporated in 1979 as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting the educational programs and services of Glen Oaks Community College.
For more than four decades, the Foundation has partnered with generous donors, community leaders, alumni, and friends of the college to secure vital resources that strengthen academic programs, enrich campus life, and expand opportunities for students.
The Foundation exists to remove barriers and open doors. Through scholarships, grants, and strategic investments, it helps students across southern Michigan and northern Indiana pursue degrees, certificates, workforce training, and transfer pathways with confidence.
Our History
Since its founding in 1979, the GOCC Foundation has served as a bridge between community generosity and student achievement.

Our Mission
The mission of the Glen Oaks Community College Foundation is to award scholarships and grants to students, faculty, and staff members of Glen Oaks Community College, and to maintain and develop the facilities and services of Glen Oaks Community College for broader educational opportunities and services.
