Make Your Gift Go Further
Many companies offer matching gift programs that allow employees, retirees, and sometimes spouses to increase the impact of their charitable giving.
If your employer matches charitable donations, your contribution to the Glen Oaks Community College Foundation may be doubled or even tripled. A matching gift is one of the simplest ways to expand your support and create greater opportunities for Glen Oaks students across southern Michigan and northern Indiana.
Your generosity supports scholarships, academic programs, workforce training, and student success initiatives that strengthen our communities.
How Employer Matching Works
- Make your gift to the Glen Oaks Community College Foundation.
- Contact your company’s human resources department to confirm eligibility and request a matching gift form.
- Submit the completed form according to your employer’s process.
Once approved, your employer sends a matching contribution to the Foundation.
It is an easy step that can significantly increase the value of your support.
Why Matching Gifts Matter
Employer matching programs help:
- Increase scholarship funds for local students
- Expand workforce and career training opportunities
- Strengthen programs that support student success
- Multiply community investment in higher education
Every matched gift helps Glen Oaks continue its mission of providing opportunities for academic and lifelong success through excellence in teaching and comprehensive support services .
