Glen Oaks uses Canvas for all credit-based online courses.
Canvas is where you will:

- View grades and feedback
Canvas connects through your Single Sign-On (SSO) account. You must activate your SSO before logging in.
How to Log Into Canvas
Go to Canvas
Username:
First initial + last name + last three digits of your GOCC student ID number
This is your Viking ID and your Single Sign-On username.
Password:
The same password you use for all GOCC accounts.

An Online Learning Orientation is available in Canvas.
This orientation will help you:
- Navigate Canvas confidently
- Understand course expectations
- Prepare for online coursework
- Build time management skills
We strongly recommend completing orientation before your first online class.
Free Online Tutoring
All currently enrolled online students have access to NetTutor inside Canvas.
NetTutor provides:
- Live tutoring
- Writing assistance
- Flexible evening and weekend support
- No additional cost
Online students receive the same academic support as on-campus students.
