Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I qualify for free tuition?
A: Yes, if you’re a Michigan resident age 25 or older and don’t already have a college degree, you likely qualify through the Michigan Reconnect program.

Q: Can I study part-time or online?
A: Yes. GO2UO offers flexible formats that allow you to study while working or caring for your family.

Q: Will my previous credits or work experience count?
A: Most college-level courses with a grade of C or better will transfer. You may also receive credit for prior learning such as military training, industry credentials, or on-the-job experience.
