Q: Will I ever have to pay for a course?
A: It depends.
- If the course tuition and fees exceed the amount your school agrees to cover, you may owe the difference.
- If you fail or drop a course after the Glen Oaks refund period, you may be responsible for reimbursing your high school.
- If you choose to self-pay for a course, you do not need school district approval, but you still must follow the standard enrollment process.
Q: Do Dual Enrollment credits transfer?
A: Yes—Glen Oaks credits are highly transferable.
Students have successfully transferred their credits to universities and colleges
across Michigan and beyond. However, we always recommend:
- Check with your intended transfer college to confirm how credits will apply to your future major or degree
- Speak with your Glen Oaks advisor to make smart course selections
