Set Up Your Payment Plan

Managing your tuition is simple with Glen Oaks’ online payment plan. Follow the steps below to get started. You’ll also find screenshots and printable instructions at the bottom of the page.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Visit www.glenoaks.edu
  2. Click “SSO” in the top menu
  3. Log in using your Viking username and password
  4. Select the Nelnet Campus Commerce tile to open the payment portal

First-Time Users

  • Click Create Account
  • Enter your name, address, phone number, and email
  • Choose two security questions and create a secure PIN
  • Set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) when prompted

These security steps help protect your information and assist Nelnet if you ever call in for help.

Returning Users

  • Sign in through the SSO Portal and select the Nelnet Campus Commerce tile
  • Once inside, review and update your contact information and preferences
  • From the Home/Welcome screen, click Set Up a Payment Plan to begin

Set Up Your Plan

Once you're signed in:

  1. From the Home/Welcome screen, click Set Up a Payment Plan

    • You can also choose Pay in Full if you prefer

  2. Enrolling in more than one semester?
    You’ll need to set up a separate plan for each semester.

  3. Need help?
    Live chat with Nelnet is available Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM (Central Time). Just click the chat icon in the upper-right corner.


Optional: Add an Authorized Party

Want a parent, guardian, or someone else to help manage your plan?
You can authorize them by selecting Add an Authorized Party within your account.


Key Info You'll Review

  • Contact Information: Make sure everything is up to date
  • Amount Due: Click “View Details” to see a breakdown of your charges
  • Payment Plan Options:
    • If you’ve been awarded financial aid: You should see only one payment plan.

      If multiple plans appear, your aid hasn’t been applied yet. Contact the Financial Aid Office before continuing.

    • No financial aid? You’ll see several plan options. Choose the one that fits your budget.

Effective Fall 2024, a $30 non-refundable enrollment fee will be charged when you set up your plan.


Payment Details

  • The person listed as the Plan Owner must be the account holder for the checking, savings, or credit/debit card used.
  • Even if financial aid covers your balance, you’ll still need to enter payment information.
  • If there's a remaining balance, your plan will include two monthly payments, plus the enrollment fee.

Final Steps: Review & Authorize

  • Use the Change links to make any updates
  • Check the box to agree to the Terms & Conditions
  • Click Authorize to complete setup

Be sure to Print a copy for your records, then click Done to return to your account dashboard.


After Setup

Your user homepage will now show a summary of your payment plan and options to update, pay early, or add another semester.
