Leadership Workshop
Course Description:
Being good at a job does not mean that you will be good managing other people to do that job. People are different. Their skills are different. Their willingness is different, and they are not all motivated by the same things. Managers need the skills to adapt their management approach to suit not just different people, but different circumstances for the same people on different issues… sometimes during the same day. To do that, managers will need to learn and master a whole new skill set for people leadership. These skills include how to establish measurement objectives, how to coach and evaluate people against clear criteria designed to show them the way to success, how to identify problem areas and coach employees back on track, and how to keep employees engaged and motivated day in-day out, month in – month out… all year long.
Effective managers will need to engage employees in insightful career discussions and help them work toward being successful in their desired careers
