Earn or Renew Your Pesticide Applicator License 

Glen Oaks Community College, in partnership with Michigan State University Extension, offers an annual Pesticide Certification & Recertification Workshop to support agriculture professionals across southern Michigan and northern Indiana. This 4-hour session helps new and returning applicators meet state licensing requirements through expert-led training and on-site testing.

Who Needs This Workshop?

Anyone who applies pesticides for agricultural or commercial purposes in Michigan must be certified and licensed by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD). Licenses must be renewed every three years by attending a recertification seminar or retaking the state exam.
