Course Placement Evaluation
Know Where to Begin. Start Strong at Glen Oaks.
Before you register for classes, you’ll complete a Course Placement Evaluation to assess your skills in reading, writing, and math. This ensures you start in the courses that match your current abilities—so you’re set up for success from day one.
Glen Oaks uses an adaptive, computerized placement test (Accuplacer), which adjusts the difficulty of questions based on your responses. While the test is untimed, we recommend allowing at least two hours to complete it comfortably.
After testing, meet with an academic advisor to understand your results and choose the right classes.

| Reading: 19 | Reading: 25 |
| Math: 23 | Math: 22 |
Bring your test scores and a valid photo ID when requesting a waiver.
