1. Apply for Admission

It’s free and only takes a few minutes.

Apply online using our secure form. You’ll need your Social Security Number if you plan to apply for financial aid, but you can also choose the printable application instead.

2. Apply for Financial Aid

Don’t wait—money is available now.

Complete your FAFSA early to maximize your financial aid package. Glen Oaks’ school code is 002263.

3. Send Your Transcripts

To complete your enrollment, we need your transcripts.

Request that official copies of your transcripts be sent directly to the Glen Oaks Admissions Office. These must come from the school or organization—either by mail or electronically through Parchment or Docufide.

We accept official transcripts from:

  • High schools (for students who graduated within the last 10 years)
  • Adult Education programs
  • GED programs
  • Colleges or universities

Please note: High school transcripts are not considered official until after your graduation date—and that date must appear on the transcript.

4. Complete New Student Orientation

Required before you register for classes.

Orientation gives you everything you need to succeed at GOCC. It’s fully online and includes course placement assessments.

Orientation must be completed before meeting with your Academic Advisor.

5. Apply for Student Housing (Optional)

Live where you learn.

Choose from 2- or 4-bedroom suites just steps from class. Space is limited, so apply early.

6. Explore Credit for Prior Learning

Earn credit for what you already know.

If you’ve gained experience through work, military service, or training, you may qualify for college credit.
