You’re considered a transfer student if you’ve previously attended another college or university and now plan to continue your education at Glen Oaks.
How to Apply as a Transfer Student
Applying is fast, free, and fully online.
Step 1: Submit Your Application
Complete the GOCC Admission Application. Be sure to select "Transfer Student" on the application form.
Step 2: Send Official Transcripts
Request official college transcripts from each institution you’ve attended.
You’ll also need to submit your official high school transcript or GED score report.

Step 3: Complete Placement Evaluation (if required)
Transfer students may be required to participate in a Course Placement Evaluation unless exempt based on previous coursework. We’ll review your transcripts to determine next steps.
Transfer Credit Evaluation
We’ll review your transcripts to determine how your prior coursework applies toward your Glen Oaks program. To earn a degree or certificate at GOCC, you must complete at least 15 credit hours here.
