If you're taking eligible CTE classes through your high school or at the Glen Oaks campus, you may be able to earn college credit now—and fast-track your future.
What Is CTE?
Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs give high school students real-world training in high-demand fields like automotive, healthcare, technology, design, and skilled trades. These classes help you build confidence, learn practical skills, and explore careers while still in high school.
When you complete an approved CTE course and submit a Certificate of Competency from your ISD, you can receive Glen Oaks college credit for your work.

Many CTE programs are held at your local high school or tech center. Select programs are taught directly on the GOCC campus—giving you early access to college-level labs, equipment, and instructors.
