Get Your Course Materials Easily and Affordably

GOCC ACCESS ensures you have the right textbooks and course materials by the first day of class—at a lower cost.

Through our partnership with Follett ACCESS, Glen Oaks makes it easier and more affordable to get everything you need to succeed in your classes. Most materials are digital textbooks or online course access codes, but print items like workbooks may also be included.

How It Works

  • Digital materials: Delivered directly through your GOCC course in the campus learning system.
  • Printed materials: Available for pickup at The Oaks Store on campus. Shipping may be available—contact the bookstore for options.
  • Automatic enrollment: If your class is part of the ACCESS program, you're automatically included when you register. No extra steps!

Why Students Choose Inclusive Access

  • Saves time: No searching or waiting—your materials are ready when classes start.
  • Saves money: Bundled pricing offers significant savings over buying books individually.
  • Simplifies payment: Charges are added to your student account after the drop deadline.

Paying for Class Materials

Q: How are costs applied to my account?
A: The total cost of materials is added to your student account after the final drop date—see the Academic Calendar for deadlines. You can use financial aid or other tuition payment options.

Q: Can I use financial aid or a payment plan?
A: Yes! If your financial aid covers books and your aid exceeds tuition and fees, it will apply toward ACCESS charges.

If you're on a payment plan, your monthly payment will adjust to reflect the materials cost. If you've already paid in full, a new balance may appear on your account for these charges.
