What to Leave at Home
Some items are either against housing policies, unsafe, or simply take up too much space.
Leave These Behind:

- BBQ grills, lighter fluid, or propane
- Alcohol, drugs, or paraphernalia
- Firearms or weapons (including paintball guns, air rifles, and knives over 3")
- Pets (including cats, dogs, ferrets, reptiles)
- Large instruments or amplified equipment
- Any appliance with exposed heating elements
- Personal documents like your birth certificate or Social Security card—bring them once if needed, then send them home
