Serving the Community Through Compassion and Care

The Student Nurse Service Club (SNSC) at Glen Oaks Community College gives nursing students the opportunity to extend their education beyond the classroom and make a meaningful impact in the community.

Open to all GOCC Nursing students, the club fosters leadership, compassion, and civic engagement through organized service projects, outreach events, and health-related volunteer opportunities. Whether delivering care kits, supporting local shelters, or leading campus drives, members of SNSC learn the value of advocacy and community care—core components of the nursing profession.

Why join the Student Nurse Service Club?

  • Build leadership and patient-centered service experience
  • Collaborate with fellow Nursing students on community initiatives
  • Make a positive impact while building your professional portfolio
  • Connect classroom learning to real-world healthcare service

From hosting blood drives to supporting wellness events, this club is where future nurses begin their journey of lifelong service.

Learn how you can make a difference.
