Investing in Your Future, Together

At Glen Oaks Community College, we believe cost should never be a barrier to opportunity. That’s why the Glen Oaks Foundation offers a wide range of scholarships to support students like you—whether you're starting college for the first time, returning as an adult learner, or preparing to transfer to a four-year university.

These scholarships consider more than just grades. Selection often includes a mix of academic achievement, financial need, community involvement, and your career goals. Many scholarships can be used to cover tuition, books, supplies, and other education-related expenses.

Who Can Apply?

Whether you're a high school senior, a current GOCC student, or returning to school after time away, Foundation scholarships are here to support your goals.

  • New Students: Scholarships are available for incoming students based on academic potential, leadership, and community service.

  • Adult Learners: Many awards are open to students reskilling or changing careers, including those in short-term programs.

  • Continuing Students: Current GOCC students can apply for merit-based or need-based funding to continue their education.

How to Apply

Glen Oaks Foundation Scholarships are awarded each academic year. We encourage all students to submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and apply through the GOCC Scholarship Application Portal during the open period, typically in early spring.

TIP: You don’t have to pick one! Apply once to be considered for multiple awards.
