If you’re a high-achieving high school senior in southern Michigan or northern Indiana, Glen Oaks Community College offers two prestigious scholarships designed to support your academic journey: the Presidential Scholarship and the Dean’s Scholarship.
These merit-based awards help cover the cost of your college education, rewarding your dedication in high school while investing in your future success at Glen Oaks.
Overview of Awards
Presidential Scholarship
- Up to $4,000 per academic year
- Covers all educational expenses (tuition, fees, books) up to the award amount
- Renewable for a second year with qualifying GPA
- Minimum high school GPA: 3.5
Dean’s Scholarship
- Up to $2,000 per academic year
- Covers education-related expenses
- Minimum high school GPA: 3.0
Who Can Apply?
To qualify, students must:
- Be a graduating high school senior
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (Dean’s) or 3.5 (Presidential)
- Plan to enroll at Glen Oaks in the upcoming Fall/Winter semester
- Enroll in at least 6 credit hours per semester (award is pro-rated if under 12 credits)
